Queer tango is emerging in Denmark, and we dance with the dance partners that we want to, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or other categories. Queer tango is a new way to dance Argentine tango, free from the traditions of who dances which role.

It will be a nice and very inspiring weekend organized by queertango.dk who has invited Charlotte Rivero, the foremost Swedish queer tango teacher to Copenhagen. Registration is open!

Buenos Aires 2011

The fifth Buenos Aires Queer Tango Festival took place on the 14th-20th November 2011. That year, the Argentinean festival named Copenhagen as Guest of Honour. Therefore several Danish queer tango dancers went to South America and participated in what became a fantastic week. For the opening night queertango.dk had produced a video with greetings from Copenhagen to Buenos Aires.
